Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
This policy explains how Fast Kanji Quiz (the “app”) handles information. The short version: we do not collect your personal data, and we do not sell or share it with anyone.
What we don’t collect
We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any other personally identifiable information. There are no accounts to create and no profiles to sign in to. We do not send your data to third-party advertising or analytics services, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Your study data stays on your device
Your quiz history, progress, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand which features are used and where the app can be improved, we collect anonymous usage events: which screens are opened, when a study session starts and ends, and along with each event the platform, device model, app version, and device language. That is all.
It is not linked to you. There is no account, no login, and no advertising identifier, so there is nothing for this data to be tied to, and we make no attempt to identify you. We do not track you across this app or any other, and we do not use cookies, so App Tracking Transparency does not apply. We never collect the kanji you study, your answers, or your progress; those stay on your device. We do not sell or share any of this with anyone.
You can turn it off. In Settings, switch off “Share anonymous usage data” and the app stops sending anything at all.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
